Treatment with XPS foam board

XPS differs from EPS in that it has a closed-cell structure, which prevents moisture-absorption and results in very low lambda values. SOPRA XPS insulation is an industry-leading range of high-performance extruded polystyrene insulation boards, suitable for many demanding and varied insulation applications, including inverted and green roofs, zero fall roof designs (in conjunction with SOPREMA zero fall waterproofing systems), floors, walls and below-ground works. Our XPS range is easy to install and provides exceptional compressive strength.

Rooftop treatment with Traditional cupping formula

The traditional “cupping” formula for rooftop heat treatment refers to the inverted clay pot insulation method (historically utilized across South Asia, including Bangladesh and India). This technique utilizes hollow, upside-down earthen pots (matka or ghara) embedded into the rooftop structure. The trapped air pockets inside the “cups” serve as a highly effective thermal barrier, stopping solar heat from radiating down into living spaces below.Because it is lightweight, it puts less stress on structural slabs than heavy solid concrete or traditional lime terracing

Rooftop heat proofing chemical Casting

Chemical casting with meta-phosphate (often commercially formulated as Meta Foam-Lub or phosphate-grafted admixtures) is a highly specialized chemical casting process. Unlike a surface-level coat of paint, it is an admixture casting system poured directly into the patent stone or structural screed over your roof slab. The chemical works via a specific molecular reaction: the grafted meta-phosphate reacts with the residual aluminum inside the curing cement to create insoluble aluminum meta-phosphate. This dense chemical reaction transforms your concrete screed into a permanent, highly porous yet non-permeable heat-insulating layer.

Rooftop foam casting

Rooftop foam casting—professionally known as Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) casting or Foam Concrete casting—is a monolithic thermal treatment used on flat concrete roofs.Instead of traditional heavy aggregate (like stone or brick chips), a specialized liquid foaming agent is mixed into a sand-cement slurry. This introduces millions of microscopic, uniformly distributed air bubbles into the concrete matrix. Because dead air is an excellent thermal barrier, this lightweight cast dramatically slows down thermal conductivity (0.116 W/m·K) and stops midday solar radiation from radiating into living spaces below.
